The problem lies in our access to every horrible thing that is done on the planet now.Bad things have always happened, but you didn't have them thrown in your face with the morning news everyday like you do now.I turn the TV off in the mornings now, I cannot stand my kids listening to all that death and despair to start each day, its not fair on them.I agree with you though, nothing quite reaches the astounding brutality and savagery of man himself
