Untitled

She wept days

to be taken

gathered up and returned to her

bereft of anguish

Gratefully

she would accept them

bow in response

and gently put them on the tip

of her tongue

Tomorrow

she will weep days

and wait for the gatherers

to return

This seems a very sad poem. I like the minimalist approach to it. I wanted to know what was being wept for?

It was a reactive piece from what I read on your blog, so I guess you could say she weeps for the children.

Just writing out the emotional surge from how it made me feel, and this is what came out.

Yes, its very sad.
